WG> I've got a question... Has anyone successfully gotten FrontDoor 2.33mL (DOS WG> version) to work with SIO 2.02 on OS/2 Warp 4 (with FixPak 14 and kernel WG> fixes)? I'm attempting to do that; I tried putting VX00.SYS in CONFIG.SYS WG> in each DOS window, but FD complains that it requires a Version 5 FOSSIL WG> driver. If I don't use VX00.SYS and instead load BNU.COM or X00.EXE (DOS WG> version 2.02), it works, though over telnet (VMODEM), there's a noticeable WG> delay. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it? I always refused to use SIO2K for the fact that it wasn't stable enough. I always used SIO v1.60 ... v1.60d didn't work to well, but 1.60 worked GREAT under WARP v4 and v3. Try 1.60 or 1.60d (both of which you can telnet in a grab here or FREQ via FD to the address below. --- Renegade vY2Ka2* Origin: The Titantic BBS Telnet - ttb.slyip.com (1:129/305) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 129/305 379/1 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
