For me the "second use" is best if it is simply something that keeps it
from being discarded as trash and in the stream of usable material.
That's why I love going to community recycling centres so much. There
one can find a wide assortment of things taht can still be used. It
often only requires a good cleaning. Sometime even a rethinking of how
that item can be used, as in the chair becoming a plant support.
