RG>Hi Kim sounds like your trip was very beatiful. Could you
RG>give us a few high lights of your trip, memorable
 RG>experiences, or funny episodes??? :-)
PEI is noted for having relatively flat hills; at least we didn't have to
walk, but we *did* use our granny gears. PEI is an island off the east
coast of Canada, and access to it is by ferry. However, by June 1997 a
bridge linking PEI and the mainland will be completed. The Islanders, in
their wisdom, expect the crunching ice flows will destroy the bridge, so
are waiting for the Mainlanders to use it first. I expect the cyclists
will be able to cross the bridge, about 14 km (7 miles). We passed many
younger as well as older cyclists who were travelling from one B&B to
another. In fact, we joined for a short time a group of Californian
cyclists who were in PEI for a club holiday - bicycles and all. One of the
best part of the trips was sitting at a table at the entrance to the
ferry, with our bicycles by our side, cracking open lobsters.
RG>I will be going on a little weekend trip next weekend up
 RG>north. I hope it doesn't rain - or snows :-(
Where is *north* relative to where you are? Take care.......Kim
