okay, i wasn't sure if when they were converting the signal they would just 
take "channel 21" and move it to channel 3, or if they would take the video 
from channel 21, move it to 3, take the audio, and combine it with channel 
3's video.

okay. :) what is the MTS encoding anyways? a better stereo signal to be able 
to handle pro-logic stuff (the different phases etc) or some other format?
