Speaking of "GI"...  I talked with a CS Rep there today and he
told me that becouse my module is showing "0000-0000-00##" for
a unit ID, that the unit is trash and will have to be replaced
before I can get VC2(+) service from any of the packagers.
Is he being straight with me ?  I asked him if there was ANY
way I could repair the unit myself (perhaps be replacing the
ROM in the unit) and was told it was not possible.  True ?
I'm also getting an error message about there NOT being a
"TvPass Card" installed.  Where can I pick up this item ?
