I didn't say that. I said the US should/could have been working more with
the UN than it was.

We all know the UN itself is nothing - it's only as strong as it's members.
The biggest asset the UN has is the US, but after the last gulf war, US has
been very little if at all involved in the crisis - until just now when
this war business started. IMO, it would have been better if the US had
been more involved all along. Working together with others, not by itself.
