Yes, and Ward's representing the ZCC reason cleanly there, though not all
the ¨discussions that allowed that conclusion.  He even managed to be
polite to ¨Janis during the discussion (evil grin).

If there's any he should have considered flaming over it, it would be me. 
He ¨didnt, but was receptive enough to at least discuss moving some to Z6
if the ¨data showed it to be a healthier pattern.  The data we had, didnt
support that ¨and did support a big *mess* if we charged forth blindly.

End result of the ZCC was: If they want a change, they need to come up with
a ¨workable plan that their own membership supports, not dreamland stuff
where you ¨just 'pretend' it's workable then get mad when those with more
background in ¨how to do such things point up the holes.

I even had one fellow who was adamant that if they moved to Z6, he'd need
some ¨ungodly number of regions assigned.  It was way more than the normal
pattern of ¨10.  In fact, it would have started as a broken system right
from the beginning ¨if you followed that person's desired transition.  When
told a saner pattern ¨would be to start with 6 or 7, he got a little miffed
sounding and didnt want ¨to discuss the technical aspects.

Before you get too confused, or others do, *I* am the one who pulled the
plug ¨on the transition to Z6.  While I would have dearly desired to make
that work, ¨the nodes in Russia simply did not want to work with me or each
other in a ¨sufficient method to allow such to be more than a horror-zone
that potentially ¨could have taken us all down.

Some of it is technical and some political, but only a fool would try to
¨pretend that the politics do not matter at all.
