heard of someone who built a tank around their fireplace as a frame and 
mantle.  I can not imagine actually having a fire that close to the fish 
unless it was an enclosed gas flame that pipes all the heat elsewhere.  I

also heard of people who built custom tanks into the frames of old console 
TVs and stereos.  I really like the multi-level tanks they have at the pet 
department stores for selling plants, lit from above by those bright, halogen 
spots.  Something like that would make an interesting island in a large 
iving
room.
