That's not what I read.

There were over a thousand people marching during the day. Peacefully.

A small number of protesters stayed later but did leave after an organizer
asked them to leave and maintain peacefull demonstrations.

I believe there was a demonstration there, maybe it was organized by BLM, I'm
not sure. I don't believe BLM is reponsible for what happened there and from
what I read the mayor doesn't either.

It is convenient to blame BLM but that doesn't make it so. That is not what BLM
is all about and it's not the outcome they are striving for.
