I don't think a firing squad, more likely life-without-parole in
Leavenworth.  Which, incidentally, is the source of the term 'getting the
shaft'; the prison didn't have a gallows to execute prisoners, so the
prison sergeant major adapted one of the building's elevator shafts as a
substitute.
