Me too. I think the real desire was a larger representation and Ward
stated ¨much of what he has heard on that, which matches what i've heard
though I'd ¨have used other words to express it.
Honestly, I think most there are just happy with things 'well enough' as
they ¨are. As long as the mail works, they dont really care that much
about the rest ¨and they DO care about breaking their mail...
Thats the crux of the matter where the 'politics' has to stop for a bit,
take a ¨breather, and look at what would happen if we allowed a huge
segment to be ¨splintered from a currently working setup without a plan or
even a desire to ¨see that happen and deal with the technical issues it
would being to the fore.
Here's another line along that, though may well be moot now. I recall by
¨suprise when working with ADAnet, several softwares that literally didnt
¨configure past Z1-6. They could not 'do' Zone94. Not even Zone7. That
was a ¨long time ago and maybe no such systems are still online, but I keep
it in mind ¨when looking at anything big for Fidonet as a whole.
