JL> Dear Moderator, RS> There aint one. PS> more the pity Or you could realise that there is more than one approach possible, and you can choose between the approaches taken. RS> Or anyone with any sense can see its a scam except a couple RS> of fools, one of whom is actually pushing the same scam himself. PS> So tell us, just what are you selling or buying Rod? So tell us, just what are you selling or buying Paul ? Are you another one of those hypocrite who doesnt see that his own pontifications apply to himself ? PS> Seeing as how you have been around the BBS sceene for quite PS> some time, wouldn't your vendetta against these so called 'scam' PS> companies be served by a policy complaint against the SysOp of PS> the BBS that is allowing these people to post these messages. Nope, you clearly know bugger all about how the system works Paul. Only sysops can raise policy complaints. Its hard to see how one could be sustained about whats in a echo which was deliberately designed to be completely open slather, SPECIFICALLY because that doesnt get any sysop or moderator involved in ruling on whats posted. It actually makes a LOT more sense to point out scams when scams are posted, because some people appear to be sucked in by them. It even looks rather like John Chan himself has been sucked in. He believes the line of bull that he has been fed that its not an illegal pyramid marketing scheme. Since no actual product is being moved in return for the money the suckers put up, thats precisely what it is, and explicitly illegal pyramid marketing scheme. Shows all the signs of being a Ponzi scheme as well. And as you can see from the John Rich saga, it sounds easy, its a lot harder to actually do something about someone who willfully flouts even the rules of a moderated echo than you might think. --- PQWK202* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/809 934 |
