Kurt,

I am still sticking with FF3 it just got a update to v. 3.6.23 .

I think the problem I told Jean P. about has to do with FF instead of
the McAfee Site Advisor Extension.

I say this because I noticed four other Extensions in the list that are
awaiting some action and nothing I have done has made those item change
the notification line in their listing in FF Extensions.

McAfee tried helping me today but the Support Technician and myself
agreed that the problem I am having may be with Firefox and not with
their software.

Today I submitted a question to Mozilla Firefox to get help from their
"Volunteer Community".

The User Account that I have the problem with WAS a Limited User Account
BUT I changed it to a Administrative User Account to try getting the
problem solved but so far Nuttin happened.

I've used Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs feature on my XP box to
Remove the Site Advisor 3.4.0 program, and it was removed from the
Firefox Extensions listing in all of my other User Accounts.

BTW Site Advisor 3.4.0 was working fine in those other accounts before I
Removed it.

Site Advisor has been re-installed now and it works in all accounts but
the problemed one.

The problem account still shows a Site Advisor 3.3.1 entry in the
Extensions list, but even before I Removed the Site Advisor program
Site Advisor wasn't working with Firefox in that account for a couple of
months, the 3.3.1 entry says it is waiting for me to restart Firefox to
Install the program.

I have restarted Firefox many, many times and I also tried
Firefox-Safe Mode and the 3.3.1 Extensions entry still wants to be
Installed and have me restart Firefox.

When I start IE8, Site Advisor works in the problemed Users Account.

Also when I click on Help - Troubleshooting Information... in Firefox
the bogus Extension version 3.3.1 is included in the list wheather I
have Removed the Site Advisor 3.4.0 program, or have reinstalled the
program.

It is more than I can handle, I've tried using Agent Ransack to Search
for files where the words 'Site Advisor 3.3.1' are in, and it found some
files with those words, even when I had Removed Site Advisor, Agent
Ransack found the files.

Even though I know that Computers Always Win Because They Have Inside
Information, I still want to beat this thing.

BTW, I have been using the WEB OF TRUST (WOT) Firefox Extension for a
long time and it still works in ALL of the accounts, even the one
with the problem, Whew.
