Hmm.. I haven't seen this problem, except when I try something stupid
like try to run a daemon when one's already running. That, or if a daemon
dies for whatever reason, the socket libraries sometimes think the socket
is still claimed, but trying again after some time (I'm not sure exactly
how long the timeout is) seems to do the trick. The behaviour is no
different from what I've seen under various Unix variants.
Anyway, Warp's IAK does support socket servers - I've got a finger
daemon working here. I've been trying my hand at a telnet daemon, but I've
run up against a wall: I have seperate threads for the data going each way,
and I can't seem to figure out how to unblock a thread that's blocked on a
recv() call. ioctl(ns, FIONBIO...) doesn't do it, and I can't figure out
what else to try.
