Derek Chauvin was recently back to work after some kind of an incident, not
because he was wanted back but because his contract stipulated he would be back
to work.

The police force in Minniapolis has made changes so this doesn't happen since
the Goerge Floyd murder although we'll see if those changes do indeed work.

The issue is/was contacts negotiated by police unions that have become very
powerful and enable bad behaviour within police departments. In a lot of cases
an officer could be fired in one jurisdiction without any record of why and go
work in another like nothing ever happened.

A recipe for disaster.
