This law defines and regulates electronic communications. Any decent library will have this in their reference section; make sure you check for *all* ammendments, if you want to look it up. The ammendments are usually seperate (most libraries won't buy a new code set each year; they just get the updates). It's not part of the FCC. The FCC (the quick course) manages the frequencies, as a non-renewable resource. They also (in theory) are responsible for policing those frequencies, and the users of them. In reality, however, unless the problem deals with public service comms, or is of such a nature that people or property could be damaged as a result, they don't have the resources to handle it. The FCC does not have anything to do with catching or punishing those who violate the ECPA. That's the Justice Department. Hope this helps. CB> Thanks for the response.
