Exactly so. I could lapse into a higher level and say that the
chair was originally built for (use by) the original owner, then
it served as a vehicle for you ideas on climbing plants, then as
a conversation starter, then to the second owner.
The significant thing in all of this is that the chair got to be
used again; your part was that you put it to two uses yourself -
first as a plant climber (that never quite got a chance) and then
as a revenue generator.
I don't feel that the "second use" has to be intensely or visibly
practical, just that there is an identifiable second use.
