I, too, like the .44spl cartridge. I do not, however, care much for the new
Charco "pug" with the barrel shroud. The older Charter Arms "bulldog" with
fixed sights was just about perfect for a carry revolver. Either of these
should probably only be fired enough to maintain proficiency due to their
alloy frames - and never with loads which exceed factory pressures.
