Hi Kelly, After prodding from Peter you wrote: KS> > JD> Yes, its called PM Designer (Shareware) and the Author (Kelly KS> > JD> Schrock) frequents this forum. Yeah, it's called PM Designer, and I'm working on a KS>new version of it. Hopefully I'll have something ready by April. If you KS>do a "File|Locate" on Pete Norloff's BBS for "PM Designer", I think the KS>filename is PMD15D.ZIP, which is a demo of the current version and some KS>generated sample programs. It is :-). Being curious (it does horrible things to my 'phone bill :-( ) I've downloaded it and started to have a look. I have couple of things for you to look at: If there is a "\" on the end of the destination path name it gets upset, it fails with a directory creation failure (after looking through the install REXX its not too suprising really ). You need to strip any trailing "\" from the destination path to make it proof against people like me :-) I tried to install to the directory containing the distribution files and it had a problem... It trys to copy a couple of files to themselves: readme.inf & pmd.ico (not too suprisingly REXX reports an error). The install is OK though :-). George ps. I got it from a UK site that mirrors the OS/2 Shareware file areas but is restricted access. I'll hit my 'phone bill a bit more and upload it to some of the specialist general access OS/2 boards over here if you want (I couldn't find it on them). * SLMR 2.1a * Engineer - a machine for converting coffee into designs. --- Maximus/2 2.02* Origin: DoNoR/2,Woking UK (44-1483-725167) (2:440/4) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 620/243 624/50 632/348 640/820 690/660 711/409 410 413 430 SEEN-BY: 711/807 808 809 934 942 949 712/353 515 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 440/4 141/209 270/101 396/1 3615/50 229/2 12/2442 711/409 808 809 934 |
