When I had to give up work with the Weather Bureau back in October
1995, I was SA for the SUN and SGI network + Tandem NonStop
Mainframes, and the SGI workstations had 320x512KB of Video RAM
[160MB], and that was pretty fantastic with the 3D SGI-software!
