Somewhat true but I had the impression Zone 1 included Canada? 

In my references to what is legal/not legal or the value of a
dollar narrowing it to USA and/or Canada isn't really all that
helpful. 

What I had in mind in terms of country of origin was 'human
readable' rather than encoded.
