Thanks for your response, both to this topic and your comments about
my seven year old reversing letters.
I'm glad you included the paragraph above. I was feeling guilty
because I did exactly that today. I made both of my children rewrite
some work they did today because it was absolutely unacceptable. I
then felt maybe I was going too far and being too harsh. Thanks for
letting me know that it isn't unheard of to do this.
BTW, when they rewrote the papers the work was the neatest I've seen
either child produce yet! I guess it comes down to children will do
what they are allowed to do.
