A few loggings from 26 & 27 Dec 96....
34.75 - Couple of A-10s in the Yankee MOA.  They were working the northern
        fringes of Yankee due to...
123.050 - Lotsa traffic on this frequency both days.  Sounds like it's
          SAR-related, looking for the downed Lear Jet in the Lebanon
          NH area.  This freq is commonly used by NG helicopters here in
          the northeastern US.
295.8 - AR action involving Maine 86 (KC-135) and a flight of 4 using
        what sounded like DANNO as their call sign.
38.65 & 303.0 - DANNO flight, probably A-10s from Barnes working in Yankee 
        after completion of refueling exercise with Maine 86.
And finally, logged between 1725 and 1729 UTC on 27 Dec 96:
143.625 - Mir to ground station in English reporting status of various
          on-board systems.  No idea where Mir was in the sky but notice
          the short (4 min.) window of signal reception.  You've gotta be
          paying attention if you want to catch Mir.  Status report was
          still in progress as Mir's signal faded at my location.
