Patients go to see lawyers for _other_ reasons, too. One of them is that
they have paid large amounts of money, spent weeks in recovery, lost much
work, and have suffered much pain for _nothing_ needlessly...and having a
second doctor tell the patient that won't compensate him!
But patients complaining of alleged "malpractice" include more than their
share of lemons, too. I've had about a dozen patients want me to sue doctors
for them, but none had anything approaching a viable case. More than a few
were psychos whose stories should be in the National Enquirer.
