I did notice that you had dropped it from your NNTP system though, or at
least that is what the newserver software told me last time I visited.
It is in the list of echos available, but if I try to subscribe I get
error messages that say:

Newsgroup IC does not exist on the news server
Response from server: 411 411 No such newsgroup

Some echos with no traffic are held for special events, e.g.
z1_election, and have no traffic until then.

Some echos with lots of traffic convey no information of any use, e.g.
the ones gated from the internet usenet groups.
