This is just my opinion, and I would like to hear what other people think of 
this.
I don't think 3D Realms should charge for the patch to v1.4. They have said 
that with all the new art, sound, etc. that it would be way too big to make 
available over the Internet.  Well, I have one thing to say to this: Have you 
looked at the size of the playable demo of Diablo yet? It is 67 megs big. 
ZIPped. Not 6.7. Not 6-7. Not 6 or 7. 67.  People are downloading it, and 
people do enjoy it (I've heard nothing but good things about it from those 
who have spent the time to get it.). I plan on getting it myself.  My point 
is this: It doesn't matter how big the file is. If it's of excellent quality, 
people will download it. The size of the file doesn't matter.
BTW, if anyone would like to get the Diablo demo, go to Webcrawler (I forgot 
the address for the Diablo page, but this is how to get it), and search for 
Diablo. Click on the Unoffical Diablo home page when it comes up.  It'll be 
there.
I know this won't change anything, but it was just my 2 cents worth on the 
subject.
