1. xcopy /H /O /T /S /E /R /V
copies anything from one drive to another
2. zip/unzip (un)archive files, directories, directory trees
    compressed or uncompressed
2.a zip can
    - compress a whole drive
    - update an archive
    - read from stdin instead determine the files to archive itself
giving you the ability to use any kind of preprocessor
to determine what you needs to put into the archive
    - write to stdout, giving you anything you may need to use
a postprocessor to store the archive somewhere you likes
2.b unzip - the counterpart of zip
the same as zip but the other direction
3. tar
    read/write a data stream from/to tape
can be coupled with zip/unzip as source/target
4. dd - a UNIXLIKE tool that copies physical sectors of
a hard disk to a destination and back
    can be coupled with zip/unzip/tar
5. cp - a UNIXLIKE tool that copies logical from source to target
compareable with xcopy when coupled with 'ls -l'
6. mv - a unixlike tool
compareable with xcopy - but removes anything it has copied
    from source
7. as helper fuction: ls look at gnutools for this and more
    like 'dir /S /W....'

There are many tools on HOBBES designed to copy/mirror/archive
directory trees.
