  A proper program would do that, yes. But do they? Like fucking hell,
they do! Borland said that and asked if I would like to put the DLL
somewhere else, so I said yes and told it where to put it... so it
went ahead and overwrote the other one! Bastards!

  The other thing that gives me the shits is the way that programs
rewrite the PATH statement and put themselves at the head of the
queue! You know... you have windows, DOS up front... so they end up at
the end of the queue and the time to do a search quadruples!

  I'm not sure what it does, but it's popular...

  New versions seem to work okay with older programs, so they probably
just add to the library, but the size varies too! Sometimes, a newer
one will be smaller. Beats me...

  The part that amazes me, is how his genes survived the early
settlers. I'd have thought they'd poison his ancesetors, first. I know
he'd be my first choice if I started poisoning Abos with strychnine
in the Toohey's Draft.
