Just those more observant readers in Avtech.

When I originally started messing with BBS's, I objected to the level

of personal information required by Sysops. Amongst other things, I

particularly disliked the fact that sysops had a great little database

of information on who had thousands of dollars worth of computer gear.

I wasn't fond of giving my name to complete strangers either. Somehow I

got stuck with the name Whitemore, and I never bothered to change it

until Brenton mentioned something recently. I realised then that it

wasn't great to needlessly mislead supposed friends on the BBS with a

false name.

AM> Pretty direct questions, but hey, I'm not in a beat around

AM> the echo mood at the moment... ;)

And I appreciate direct questions. There should be more of it ;-)

Regards, Alan
