IJ> I have noticed that my node 1 mailer, the one I hooked up to IJ> a modem, wants to call out with mail.... I don't want it to IJ> make any calls out unless I give it a slap!!! IJ> my route file just says IJ> Hold * IJ> What's needed to make that stop. what's the status on the message(s) that its trying to send? if crash or immediate, they can override the hold in the config file... also, make sure that that node is reading the right routing file... multinode systems can share a single route file and any nodes that are to have different routing from the single (default) file will have to have one specificly named for them... for example... ROUTE .FD 5439 02/01/:4 22:04 A--- ROUTE11 .FD 3866 12/19/:3 21:56 A--- ROUTE12 .FD 3866 12/19/:3 21:56 A--- ROUTE13 .FD 3866 12/19/:3 21:56 A--- ROUTE14 .FD 3866 12/19/:3 21:56 A--- ROUTE15 .FD 3866 12/19/:3 21:56 A--- the first one is my default for all nodes... the others are specific for nodes 11 thru 15... granted, those are all identical but this is the way FD is designed to work... in the future when i drop my dialup stuff back to one node, i'll rename route.fd to route1.fd and one of the others to route.fd so that the common nodes all have one set and the seperate dialup node(s) each get their own...
