1200/75, or 75/1200. Never 1200/1200. Also V.22 could be 600 bps at times,

HST was quite a few speeds, initially 9600 I believe, when everyone else only
had V.22bis.

Proper V.32terbo is only 19.2k, but USR diddled it and came up with 21.6k
as long as you're talking to another USR. You can do 19.2k to say an
AT&T though.
