That's what put me off. I realize now that if you're just dawdling for
those 2 ms waiting for the data, it is feasible. However, if this is CPU
computation, you'll have to use a much faster machine, anyway (for OS/2),
which solves the problem rather neatly.

Exactly what kind of DOS machine are we talking about? 8088-4.77? 286-6? 386-40?
