-> Sounds more like an egg carton than a sailboat!
Dan: Belive me I think it was. Actually it was very safe and probably
cheap to buy. It was more of a simple dinghy sailboat, if I remember
correctly it also had a motor mount for a outboard.
-> That sounds reasonable an far less complicated than my suggestion.
I think I will have to slightly revise my prices (1 foot square of
one-quarter inch thick) stainless was $40.00, labour for bending and
shearing is $65.00 per hour. Epoxy resin and fiberglass resin along with
about 10-12 bolts and that would just about it. Since the cracks have
been fixed about 3-4 hours of actual work would just about finish it.
Mind you the biggest problem will be waiting for the resins to harden.
-> That one seems to be a good alternative, though I'm still not a big
-> fan of applying anything that says "shake before using".
Actually I have paste wax, no shaking required. When I do wax the boat
above the waterline I don't want the wax to run down the hull.
                                                       George
