Hello All.
I have decided to take the plunge and try to learn assembly language. I am
interested in the 586 class and higher of CPUs...
Can anyone recommend any good beginner books? I am familiar with DOS, BASIC,
TurboPASCAL and a smidgen of C, so I'm not completly lost on everything. I
do need to learn about stacks and pointers however.
I would like to find a fairly reasonable assembler that will run under
OpenDOS too. Can be shareware/freeware/commercial.
I don't need anything too fancy. The stuff you all talk about in here is
deep enough for me. ;)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Sean
