You know, that was what I was thinking about.  Too much time configuring Fido 
mailers I think.    What I would like to do is write a rexx app of a sort 
to act as a daemon, but I would like a way to have it automaticly shut down, 
much as the network requester and other daemons do, after they are safe to do 
so.  No idea how to handle that.
Rexec from a windoze machine?  Is that possible?
