I went to Baytown, Texas to get as far away from hurricane Katrina as I
could.  From as far away as Lafayette, LA, the Sunday before landfall, you
could see the storm approaching the coast.  It was an unbelievable sight
and one I hope to not see again.  Some might say that the storm was over
the horizon, which is about 12 miles away from any viewpoint, but they
don't consider how huge these "Evil Eyes" are.  I've got
pictures.
