So since the PLO has historical ties to the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, who
had strong ties to the Germans should we call the PLO (and the PA ) Nazi
allies ? I wouldn't  but if you want to start tracing all of the various
connections ........

I would say that members of the Irgun did join the Likud and even helped
found Likud but I would not say that the Irgun became the Likud party.
Likud was organized in 74, the Irgun disbanded when ? 1948 ?
