 I don't get the analogy.

 Push-pull amplifiers and a full-wave rectifier
circuit using a center-tapped transformer seem
similar; but, a bridged transformerless amplifier
has both amplifiers conducting for 360ø whereas a
bridge rectifier has individual diodes which are
conducting for only 180ø.
