Chuck: I have an older Honda 5 hp, on my 19 foot sailboat. I find it big
enough for cruising with the engine. I can get up to about 7 knots at
about half-throttle. You might need a long-shaft motor to give you
enough depth, my motor is a long-shaft.
  I don't think you will find a 4-cylinder 5 hp or even a 4-cylinder
10hp for that matter. My 5 hp is a single cylinder.
