Oh, hell yea an H-D sounds like a good idea to me, I didn't mean to imply
that I liked the higher prices! My Kawi Z-1 circa the '70s got less than
30mpg around town and not much more than that on the highway (can't
remember the tank size at the moment, but round trip to the beach of choice
at the time was 140 miles and I couldn't do it without going on reserve), I
don't think H-Ds at the time were much better, though they may be better
now.
