Okay.

 DS> 2) totalfiles = # -- is there a limit on how many to have, as long as
 DS> there are appropriate items (#3) below??

Not that I've seen.

 DS> 3) With file#_name, file#_baseidx, file#from, file#to, file#sub,
 DS> file#addr, and file#_delfile, is the # for the post number (1 for post
 DS> 1, 2 for post 2, etc.)??

These are my first two to give you an example:

    file1_name    = tbbs_advert.ans
    file1_baseidx = 7
    file1_from    = maskreet
    file1_to      = All
    file1_subj    = Throwback BBS
    file1_addr    = 1:142/799
    file1_delfile = false

    file2_name    = tbbs_advert.ans
    file2_baseidx = 63
    file2_from    = maskreet
    file2_to      = All
    file2_subj    = Throwback BBS
    file2_addr    = 1:142/799
    file2_delfile = false

File name to post can be the same file with the same name if you want.

 DS> 4) On file#_name, can I give a full path for it, such as
 DS> c:\smarttxt\filename.txt?? Or does it have to be in c:\mystic??

You can, but if it resides in the same directory as Mystic, then no, just the
file name (see above)

 DS> 5) On file#_baseidx, I got the message number from Mystic -CFG.

Correct.

 DS> 6) On file#_from, can I use my name instead of Sysop??

You can use whatever name you want, and it's case-sensitive, so it'll display
it exactly as you put it.

 DS> 7) On file#_to, I normally will have that set to ALL.

That's fine, again, can set it to anything you want.

 DS> 8) On file#_subject, that'll be the subject. Is there a max length to the
 DS> subject??

I don't think so, but subjects usually need to be short and sweet anyway, as
most BBSes limit the character length. Since they're all different, you'd
probably want something short and sweet as well.

 DS> 9) On file#_addr, it will be 0:0/0, since it's Echomail (going out into
 DS> the particular echo) and not netmail...or should that be the address of
 DS> the echomail hub?? If I am sending a netmail message, I gather it'd have
 DS> the destination address, but would it be sent via the
"email" folder??

It's the address of the node you're assigned for the particular echo you're
posting to.

 DS> 10) On file#_delfile, that'll always be at false.

Sounds good.
