-=> Quoting Brenda Smeby to Walter Luffman <=-
BS> I often wish Buttons would avoid me sometimes Especially when I'm
BS> on the computer...she just has to lay on the table with her chin
BS> laying over my wrist as I type. Lately though, she's taken to
BS> 'bathing' me at bedtime. I'll be sound asleep or nearly there, and
BS> here comes that sand-paper tongue across my face! AGH!
Only one thing wrong with that. A housecat's tongue is so
small, bathing takes forever. I like the raspy feel of a cat's
tongue...except maybe on the eyelids.
> No question about it -- cats are _not_ intimidated by sheer size.
BS> Definately not. :*) But...this IS the first dog she's allowed into the
BS> house at all. :*)
Perhaps she's mellowing a bit. Meko is -- she stops frequently
to be petted, and lately I've even managed to get her to sit in
my lap without resorting to heavy restraints.
BS> Heh heh....true. Things are starting to smooth out just a bit...I've
BS> been finding Buttons curled up to Lady's back at least once a day the
BS> last week. :*)
Just be alert, in case they form an alliance and gang up against
you!
