subject: Noise Reduction on 12v po

-> Anyone have plans or diagrams etc on how to build a good noise
-> reduction device for 12v lines? For the sake of discussion, assume th
-> interference is indeed on the 12v line and not being radiated. Need
-> something to filter it out, and can't really afford the $20 or so
-> local places want for a LC-based one that can handle 10 amps.
You could build your own but if you don't already have a "Junk" box
with what yuo need it could cost you more. All you need is two 10 amp
capable iron core chokes to put in series with the 12 volt leads and the
and a large cap between the lines. You can get fancier but that
shouldn't be necessary unless the interference is very severe..
