subject: The aftermath

-> Hmmm . . . Mas must be pretty smart -- that's almost exactly what
-> **I've** been saying. :-)
I've seen references (all favorable) to a posting of yours, but not
the actual posting itself. It disappeared into cyberspace before it
made it here.
-> JP>The call-in needs to include the location, preferably repeated,
-> JP>with a statement like "I've been attacked by an armed robber.
-> JP>The suspect is down. We need police and ambulance immediately."
MUCH better than just calling in and blurting "There's been a shooting!
We need help!"
-> JP>Arriving officers need to be told, "This man attacked me. I'll
-> JP>press charges against him.                                 ^^^^
      ^^^^^ ^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^ ^^^
GREAT advice. I've never seen this anywhere else, and I'm not sure it
would have occurred to me afterwards on my own.
Of course, if the perps expired, it may be moot . . .
Regards
John
