  Yair... the interrupt happens immediately. You can end up with time
running backwards! My favourite trick is to ask the computer to write
"hello" in the program, so I know where it went wrong. ROFL! With
interrupts, the hello comes last!

  Actually, I'm not surprised. I do my DOS programming in Windows
because Windows *does* offer some protection against locking the
computer. I've seen people recommending Win95 for the same reason. But
in your case it seems to be a comprehensively rooted driver...
