I can't answer that, it stuffs up the whole macro economic argument of 
comparitive advantage. Never the less it exists because despite the 
general agreement countries (inc. Aust) like to earn foreign exchange. 
They are willing to convert local currency to foreign currency.

I have worked for firms that have written off overseas trips against 
export development. The original question was one of trying to get an
opinion on whether my form of working would get over the bureaucratic 
hurdles. I suppose I should come back to this when I can point at a 
reliable earnings record.
