Undstand that I would also prefer file sizes bigger than 2 Gigs.  I have
been a propent of this for quite ome time on Fido.  However, I do think
that with regards to databases any database worth its salt allows
for partitioning to overcome file size limits and as an additional
benefit to improve availability by allowing maintenance on the various
partitions while the database is up.
