It is still covered by concrete ... anything involving the Congo is shrouded in
mistery here as there is still a desire from some to shroud the role our Royal
Family played in the murder of 10 million negroes. Since 100-year old stuff is
still locked away I wonder if 46 yr old material would be uncovered.
 
BTW, as a detail. The only reliable source of the mass-murders in the Congo
comes from American missionaries, they've chronicled the abuses and it was
quite a thing in the American press in those days. In Europe they stayed quiet
about it as most likely any 19th & 20 th century colonial country had blood on
its hands ...
 
The Congo has been independant since 1960 ... yet only this year did they have
their first free elections with more than a single candidate.
