Can someone tell me what the process is when performing a shutdown from
the Desktop shut down option?  What is the order in which programs are
shut down , e.g. Last program started or first started?, e.g. largest PID
to smallest PID with PMSHEll last?  Also is there any concerns with 
stopping >20 active processes, like timing problems or something else?
