  There are hundreds of ways to stuff up. I thought pointers were
tricky until I started playing with interrupt routines! Jesus! The bit
that drives you mad is that things can sort-of work.

 BG> No need, there were no IRQ conflicts, nor anything like that at
 BG> all. Just a shitty driver, which has now been replaced (and
